The Parish Council is made up of 15 Councillors and a Clerk. The Council meet every month for a full Council Meeting and twice a month for Planning Meetings.
Notification of meetings plus agenda can always be found on the parish notice boards, at least three days prior to a meeting and on this web site. Any parishioner may have items considered at meetings, this is best done through the Clerk, in writing, or for more urgent issues the Chair and Vice-Chair are happy to be contacted. Although members of the Public are not permitted to speak during the meetings, time is always made available prior to the start of a meeting.

Applications are invited for the role of Clerk to Cottenham Parish Council.
The successful applicant will be required to provide guidance and professional and administrative support in respect of all aspects of the Council’s work. The role is for 20 hours a week and will include regular evening meetings. Previous experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. The role requires good computer skills. Salary will be dependent on experience.
