Neighbourhood Plan – Informal Consultation

Before it can be adopted, the Neighbourhood Plan has to be approved in a referendum of Cottenham residents. This is likely to take place in early 2018. Prior to that, residents, SCDC and other bodies are being consulted and their views incorporated to improve its policies further. Its policies have to be supported by evidence, be deliverable and be socially acceptable.

We need your views on 7 particular issues.  A copy of the questionnaire is being distributed to every household in the next edition of the Cottenham Newsletter.  These should be returned to the Parish Council Office or one of the boxes located in the Library, Post Office and Sports & Social Club.  Further copies can be printed (see below).  Alternatively you can complete the questionnaire online

The deadline for replies is midnight on 22nd October 2017. NB: Every Cottenham resident aged 16 or over can complete a copy but we are only allowed to consider the views of those who provide their name and postcode.

A summary of the proposed Neighbourhood Plan is available here: Consultation & Overview.  A few hard copies of the Full Consultation Document are available for inspection in the Library and the Parish Office at the Community Centre, with more by request.

Please send any additional comments to cottenhamnp@gmail.com including the paragraph or policy reference, your name and the postcode where you live.
