Bio
Originally from the Lake District, I moved to Cambridge in 1982, and moved to Cottenham from Cambridge five years ago. My wife and I had first attempted to move to the village in 1989! We have many friends here, and we have been visiting Cottenham for thirty years.
Originally from a science background, the vast majority of my career was spent running my own financial practice, and more recently working in marketing and business development.
Although I have always taken an active interest in local government matters both in Cambridge ,and Cottenham it is only recently that I have had the time needed to be involved in a formal way. I hope that my eye for detail, and determination will be a useful addition to what is already an extremely competent and hard working team.
My priorities are the safety, wellbeing and amenity of the parishioners; conservation and planning . Building on the villages strong foundations, and identity for the benefit of everyone.
I enjoy walking with my dogs, gardening, and a wide range of sports headed up by Formula 1 and Rugby, and a very occasional round of golf.
